so as ive said before, i lost now about 44 pounds. im into the "healthy " BMI, im 6 feet tall and 181 pounds. my GOAL was 165. but i found out yesterday that i am having heart problems, and i am not allowed to get my heartrate anywhere above 60% max.

i registered for a 5k thats on thanksgiving morning earlier this week, cant do it. i just got to the level where i could actually run 5k, and i cant run anymore. im basically banished to only doing low level cardio. how can i lose weight when ive already gotten my body to this level of being able to really push? can you still lose weight if your body is conditioned to running, when all you can do is walk?

i know that i shouldnt be so concerned about those pounds, when its my life im talking about..but ive tried so many times in the past and i felt like i was REALLY going to get to my goal this time.

Maybe try something like yoga or pilates. They don't increase your heart rate too much, but still keep you active.
