Weight loss help needed.

Hello.

My names is Ashley and on May 21 2008 I had my daughter (she's a year and a half) and since then I haven't lost any weight.

I know I need to eat better, the problem is, I have no earthly idea what to eat, or what exercises to do. For the last week or so I have been doing exercise videos and it seems like they're working. But if any of you have tips I would appreciate it!

Thank you!

First find something that works for you LONG TERM.  Fad diets that you force you to do something you really don't like to do will send you into a frenzied cheat!  For instance, don't go low carb if you LOVE bread...you'll cheat...badly LOL.  Don't do a really really low calorie diet if you aren't planning to stick REALLY low cal forever...I find personally that portion control and lower calorie work for me..some people have to have a menu planned or they lose it.  Find what works for you.  If you want to track it...keep a journal or join Spark People or something like that.  Most diets WILL work short term..that is why you gotta find something you can live with forever.  Also I love love love Zumba, but I do it because I LOVE it.  Its high impact.  But i'm a firm believer that walking is the best weight loss exercise...your legs carry the largest muscle in your body...work them and you burn fat.

I know I have been there. I lost my weight - 50 pounds and kept it off. It is possible. I was so frustrated I tried  everything. I started to do cardio 5 days a week and weights. I cleaned up my diet. You can look  here under food and workout  journals and see what I eat. As far as exercise I started out w/DVD's then cardio on the bike-Treddy and weights. weight training makes you burn more cals and tone. I had a friend lose alot of weight w/eating small clean meals a day and  a DVD called walk off the pounds. If you need any help just ask.

Hi Ashley,

I just lost 50lbs on the HCG Homeopathic drops.  Very easy, very cheap and the weight comes off pretty quick.  You have to be discliplined, but you will as you see 5 lbs drop off in the first week.  I started my program in June, went off for 4 weeks in the summer and did it again and stopped for good Oct 31st.

I just put a website up that you can check out.  I will have it finished today.  I purchased my first drops for $140/bottle.  I've managed to get them at wholesale and charge a great price. ($35 bottle)  You feel great when your on them, ton of energy and vitality, you can't exercise, (only walking) and you have to eat a very specific foods)

Watch the videos and let me know if your interested.  I can send you my before and after pics.  I could have done it quicker but I cheated several times!

I'm working on looking weight too. I am currently reading a book by Denise Austin called How to Eat Carbs and Lose Weight and I'm finding it very helpful in choosing what to eat. I also belong to a free website called nutrimirror that lets me log my food I've eaten and exercise and tells me how many calories I can consume to reach my goal.

The main issue with food is to go with whatever is less refined. The more natural the better. Stick to whatever workout works for you. If you enjoy it you will stick with it. Just keep reminding yourself that you are worth it and that your daughter needs a good example and you'll have all your extra weight off before you know it!
