I think that (what you are suggesting) is the overall point of the article. The study proved that keeping your calories low enough is the most important thing. However, the low carb eaters found it easier to control hunger.
Quoting landhmom:How about just watching calorie intake and portion control and eating well balanced meals? I do not recommend any kind of "diet" that goes either too heavy or leaving out any food group.
