I am so nervous with the holidays being here that I will gain back some of the weight I have lost so far this year.  I am holding steady (hit a plateau) at 30 lbs., but want to keep going.  I am starting to increase my gym/workouts so hopefully jumpstart my weight loss and keep the holiday pounds away.

Ya, the holidays can be very tricky... there is a blog that has holiday tips www.FreeTrainerTips.com for details.. what do you struggle with...the eating or getting enough exercise?... perhaps I can give better advice ... some advice would be that if you are having the party give your guests "togo" food so you don't end up with all those fattening goodies, and if you attend the party be very picky about what you put on your plate...if you really want to have something that is not your best choice , have it, just put a smaller portion on you plate...

Great on the weight loss. You can do it. Try and stay away from all the mindless eating. like the cookies and candies all around. There are so many ways to eat healthy still. Pumpkin pie has 250 less cals than pecan and stick w/white meat. 30lbs down. How Awesome!

Good Luck!. This is one tough time to be trying to lose weight.  I had a friend ask me if I was going to cheat this holiday.  I just laughed and quoted Kate Moss:  "Nothing taste as good as skinny feels".  Granted I still have 90 lb to lose, I have already lost 45 but still have a long way to go.   I have also told myself 'once I reach my goal I can have what I want in moderation'.  I am optimistic. This is not my last holiday, and If I really want to, I can make any treat at any time.

Just remember you are not depriving your self of anything.  You can always have it, but make it a reward and remember the only thing you are missing when you don't have that treat is the guilt, indigestion and the struggle with the zipper.
