MONDAY: TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC

I am dreading tomorrow morning's weigh-in.  Some of you might remember that I did a little experiment 3 or so weeks ago, eating very carefully (about 1400 cals.) and exercising, and I lost 7 lbs.

It's been downhill from there.  For me, for some odd reason, a very successful week doesn't spur me on to keep at it; it makes me feel I can "celebrate" and relax a bit... and I regain some or most of the weight.

SO... tomorrow I am going to weigh myself.  I haven't in a couple weeks.  It won't be pretty.  I really want to lose weight in December so I can take advantage of the winter clearance sales in Jan. and FINALLY feel good about buying clothes.

Ouch.. 152 lbs.  Actually, I thought it was going to be worse.  So, back on track today.....  I know WHAT to do; I just need to do it for more than a week, LOL.

I know it is so easy to do. I have done it to. Thought "YAY" I lost 5lbs. celebrate and it is back on. lol. Reward your weight loss with buying something new for you to celebrate. Even if it is just something small like lip gloss.

Thanks..  I think I can stick to it if I keep in mind the clearance sales looming at the end of this month and into January.  How ironic: when I was in my teens/twenties and had a great body, I had less $ for clothes.  Now, I have more $, and lost the trim body, and can't buy clothes..
