I am going to be heading to the store today, and want to pic up some really good stuff to help lose some of this weight. HOWEVER, all the "diet" type stuff I had tried in the past was DISGUSTING! So I want to know what you guys like that is good for you and tastes good. I know fruits and veggies, I am referring to special pastas or breads, or types of slim fasts or protein bars. Thaings like that. Thanks Ladies!

i just restarted my healthy eating yesterday, and had to go to the store to buy all the stuff. I dont know if this is really what your looking for, but i'll tell ya what i bought anyways. I bought eggs, broccoli, romaine lettuce, raisins, peanuts, celery, blueberries, raspberries, chicken breast, ground flax seed, and extra fiber whole wheat bread, and plain low fat yogurt, and fresh spinach

For breakfast, since im pregnant and get sick if i dont eat immediately after waking up, i eat cereal (today it was raisin bran).

For our next meal, i made scrambled eggs and broccoli.

For my snack in a little while, im going to make my smoothie: yogurt, cranberry juice, ice, raspberries, blueberries, flax seed, and spinach.

Since i have to go to work later, im saving my "lunch" till closer to dinner. But some snacks through out the day will be peanuts, celery with peanut butter, raisins, applesauce.....

Im going to make a half sandwich with the chicken (deli style due to having to eat at work), romaine lettuce, mustard, and cheese.

Also, after getting the approval from my doc, i can drink a cup of real green tea a day.

I stay away from "The Diet" stuff to. There are so may chemicals in there that keep people overweight.

I like Greek Yogurt-shiritaki noodles (They are vertually no caloria and no carbs) and ezekial bread.

I am doing protein and veggies for breakfast, so eggs and I love the turkey sausage from the freezer section. the kind you only heat and serve, yum. Then lunches I eat a lot of low carb Whole wheat wraps with tuna or turkey breast and spinach and cottage cheese. Snacks I like fiber-one bars, fruit, and 2% string cheese. If you like spicy, buy Buffalo sauce. Its very low in calories and it has a great taste. I also love hummus and carrots. I read the south beach diet book and they have this recipe for Almond ricotta creme and it was awesome. It is low carb, high protein and it was a nice dessert. Kinda like the inside of a cannoli! It filled me up for hours!
