Organizing your cookbook?(a little help please.)

Ok so I am looking to organize my cookbook. I have recipe box but it is getting so full that it almost won't close. So I am moving all my recipes onto 8x10 paper and then into a 3 ring binder. My questions are Do you organize by meal(breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts) or do you organize by food type(chicken, beef, pork, etc.)? If you do it by food group what groups do you put in( do you put salads as a whole separate group or just make a side dish section)? Anyways any help and tips would be so appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have a cookbook that you like?  If so, use the same headings in your personal binder.

This is a great idea!  I should do this.

Idk how I would do them.  Hmmm.  I would do Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Side Dishes and Desserts.  I just wouldn't want to sift through sides when I'm looking for a main dish, kwim?

I have mine set up like what is listed in the recipe section of this group.  It's still a work in progress but I can post the categories if you'd like.

I tried to find the recipe section in the group but couldn't find it. So if you could please post them that would be great. Thanks!
