BMR calculator??

Who knows how to do the bmr calculating thing?  I've found one online and the calorie intake seems too high but maybe that's just me?  Anyway, is there someone that could calculate mine for me to see if we match up?  I just went about cutting my calorie intake down to about 1500 a day since I stopped breastfeeding and I gained 4lbs within a week and now I'm holding steady onto that weight...even tho I workout 6 times a week!  HELP! lol

Give me your age, height, weight and how many days per week you exercise.. I will do it as soon as I see it.

 Have no idea! But after 6 kids I can tell you breastfeeding allows us about 500-7-- extra calories a day we have to get rid of when we stop! Also,t may take a little while for your body (hormones) to re-adjust to pre-breast levels. 1,500 calories should allow for a weight loss of about 1-2 pounds a week, so make sure you are keeping track of QUANITY too! I'm 25.  194lbs at 5'4".  I work out 5-6 times a week.

To lose 1 lb per week: 2607-500=2107

You should consume no less than 1682 calories and no more than 2107 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.

That's around about what I got only mine said 2087 cals a day.  That just seemed like a big number to me.  Thanks for your help!! :)

i dont wanna hijack her thread but I dont think I ever got all my numbers from you, I know I got my baseline..but not how much I should/could eat with working out.  I am 24, 5'7" 143 and I work out 6 days a week

BMR: 1479

Maintenance while working out 5 days per week ( moderately active): 1479*1.55=2292

To lose 1 lb per week: 2292-500=1792

Maintenance while working out 6 days per week ( hard sports/ exercise) : 1479* 1.725=2551

To lose 1 lb per week: 2552-500=2052

You would need to consume no less than 1479 calories and no more than 1792 calories per day if you worked out moderately and no more than 2052 if you did hard sports/exercise to lose 1 lb per week.

oh please, me too? im 5'7'', 170, and i work out 4-6 days a week (usually 6 but the last few weeks i havent been able to). right now im eating between 1200-1660.
