Alternate Ideas??

I sprain my ankle pretty bad yesterday.  I went to the doctor today and he said for 3-4 weeks no walking (if i can help it), running, jumping and high impact activities etc.  I have been working out so hard at my vital 90 class for the past 3 weeks so it's a bummer.  Any ideas for alternate excercises?  Of course I am still going to do my situps but what else do you think?

I broke my foot earlier this year so I know what you mean. Whatever you do, do  not push yourself to start exercising on it too soon. I did and I injured it further. Hope it heals quickly!

2 moms liked this

Learn to do it all backwards on your hands. Lol. Only kidding.

Water aerobics. you could do weights with your upper body or if you can safely stand on one foot, you could do some that way.

get some weights and get to work on your arms. pushups on your knees, plank position from knees.

These ladies have some great ideas!  I sprained my ankle about 2 weeks ago and had to take off from running for a week and it stunk!  Feel better soon mama!
