Hi! I'm ebf and I have about 70 lbs to lose. I started a low carb diet a couple weeks ago and lost 4 lbs the first week but noticed a decrease in my milk supply. I was having 60 carbs a day. How many carbs should I have a day to lose weight gradually but not lose my milk supply? Thanks!!

How many calories are you eating? are you tracking those too? Thats pretty important when breastfeeding because you have to be eating enough in order to make your milk. Are you drinking enough water?

Do you know your BMR?  How many calories are you eating?  This is the first thing you need to look at to make sure you're eating enough to support your milk supply:)

I would stop with the low carb diet while breastfeeding. Focus more on calories. Find out your BMR. And make sure your drinking enough water.
