When I was pregnant the last time about a year ago i ended up gaining a ton of weight like about sixty pounds to be exact. Well for a while I had dropped twenty and now that I'm pregnant again the doc put me on a high protein diet to help with my nausea and heartburn I ended losing twenty more pounds. The nausea has stopped and I'm still losing weight. I eating super healthy now. And reduced on my sugars and junk but not completely cause I don't want to go too extreme heard thats bad for the baby. But I'm scared that the amount of weight I'm losing is going to hurt the baby. Any ideas or am I doing the right thing. Oh and I'm also making sure I excersise regularly now. Doing yoga and running after dd. Oh and reason I'm eating so healthy and severely watching how I take care of my body now that I'm pregnant. Had preclampsia with the last baby and I know if I get it again it's not my fault regardless I still felt like it was. And I refuse to have it again.

Its ok to lose weight while pregnant as long as you aren't doing anything extreme to do so and its just the change in your eating habits. You can work out as long as you feel comfortable nothing to strenuous though and its good you are going about this better the second time around. Good luck and keep up the good work! :) Remember just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you actually have to eat for two.

Ok. Baby does not any sugars or junk so don't worry thatt u cut thatt stuff out. Good job. As long as ur eating healthy your baby will be fine. I lost 20 or so lbs due to morning sickness and I still ended up having a 7lb baby. :)

Keep it up.

I lost 25 lbs the first 12 weeks with my last baby and only gained about 10 of it back throughout the pregnancy and my OB was ok with it.

I've found both prenatal pilaties and prenatal yoga that i've been doing  those daily and switching between the two. and once the ice completely goes away I'll be taking dd on walks daily. lol and yeah i wish i would have known that with dd. LOL.

Babies will take their nutrition first and leave mommas with the rest. I lost 40 in the first 6 months with my daughter because I was so sick all the time. Hospitalized for 6 weeks gained back 10 and she was still 8 pounds! Just keep eating right and baby should be fine!

I'd go with your doctor's recommendations.  It can be safe to lose weight while pregnant.  I did by default- my doctor recommended I try not to gain any weight (I did end up gaining 12 lbs because I went on a baking binge in the last 10 weeks of pregnancy).  Keep doing what you're doing, mama!  Good luck!!
