I love my treadmill mos of the time. I would say my best advice is not to over do it in the beginning.
I run and walk at a 1 % grade since it simulates the outdoors and since I am training for a traithlon this is important for me
Way to go!

I do all my running/walking on my treadmill. Just like any exercise I would say ease into it!

Nice!!!
Just listen to your body, and mix it up if you start to get bored. There are many ways to change it up so it's not just one speed, one incline, same ol' same ol'.
Enjoy, mama!!
