I try to eat between 1500-1900 calories a day, and had lost just under 4 lbs in the last couple weeks. Well yesterday, we were out and about and decided to eat out, instead of driving 30 minutes back to our house. well we are in church world, so everything was still closed except for Ihop.... so that's where we went. when we got home hours later, i found out that what i ate had 1200 calories in it!!!!!!!! and i still had snack and dinner to go! so i managed to get in two 45 minute workouts instead of just the one, horrified at what i had eaten.
well today, i am now at 4.5 lbs lost! i didn't mess up as much as i thought i did!
Good job! One bad meal doesn't always me a gain on the scale! Sometimes, it helps!
Woo hoo! I agree with Tasha- one "bad" choice won't totally derail everything. I think it's important to allow for that stuff occasionally, frankly.

aw thank you. it was soooo hard to not eat crap food the rest of the night. very mentally challenging!
