I am trying to get a good BMR, but i am not sure what activity level i am. I work out everyday (i dance - each 45 minute workout burns over 200 calories), i do pilates every other day, and bust out an extra 20-30 minute dance session every couple of days..... Is that medium?

I'm not sure, because for me that would be a lot!  I think you just need to put in the number of days you exercise to calculate your BMR.

If you're looking at the Harris Benedict equation, I'd use the 3-5 days a week (1.55) equation.  So your BMR x 1.55, then subtract 500 from that to get the upper limit on your calories while trying to lose weight.

6 and 7 days a week are for endurace athletes, who exercise at a high intensity level for well over an hour a day, like training for a marathon or IronMan.  I'm training for a marathon (still early in the training), but I still use the 3-5 day/week equation.
