Set short term goals, like run 2 miles nonstop, get to level 3 of a DVD, lose 10 lbs, all by a certain date or event. Biting this off in small chunks helps me big time, otherwise I get overwhelmed.
Write out your reasons to lose weight. Anything that's motivating to YOU is okay!
I sign up for races (I'm a runner), and having an event to train for makes a HUGE difference in my motivation! If I don't have something on the calendar, I have no motivation. I'm aiming to hit the 100-lb mark by my next race (mid-April).

I don't know - I still force myself to exercise. I'm one of those people that I whine and crab about it and then when I'm done I'm like, oh! I feel good! lol. I just have to make myself get started, I talk myself into 10 minutes and then I usually keep going because I figure I'm already sweaty. lol
I'm more the procrastinator- Oh, these dishes need to get washed, I just need to start some laundry, I really ought to clean the toilet... But I, too, am always glad when I make myself GO!

This is me!!! I usually think about the feeling of accomplishment I get after I work out.
Thanks again :D
ROFLLLL I'm the same way but with homework. When I have a big paper due, my house is immaculate because I pretend I'm too busy to clean to get to it hahah.

I have a page of a victoria's secret catalouge in my room. LOL. I know the pictures of models in there is an unrealistic goal because they are airbrushed and such, but it still motivates me.
