My "drug" of choice last night...

Was a can of Mountain Dew : (.  I used to have a major addiction to them and would drink several cans a day. I haven't had one is over 6 weeks since I started my eat healthy kick but DH and I got into another argument and I got the worst headache and well I just had to have something to make me a bit happier.  Luckily I still stayed in my calorie range but it was so good to have one again. Today it is back to water only.

Do you have something that you just have to have when you have a bad day?

Chocolate... Specifically Hershey's special dark with almonds.

I have worked so hard on this ...... I try everything I can think of to not give in .... herbal tea, water, sugar free gum ..... usually for me it is sour cream and onion potato chips (which is the exact reason they are not in my home)  ..... sometimes I even go to bed so I will not give in.


If I really do want them then I need to go to the store and buy them .... a small bag and I enjoy every chip and move on!

yep....Im a sweets junkie...if I'm in a funk I turn to ice cream, cookies, candy...anything sweet. Its bad :/.

Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one! Next week is my tom and I'm craving everything from sweets to salty...ugh it sucks.

My "drug" when I'm feeling down is normal food and LOTS of it. Enough that I almost puke unfortunately. Since coming here to this group its not that bad anymore just last week I had a horrible day. I did go over my calories but only a little and I got a workout in which would have never happened a year ago.

Dessert and diet coke are mine.  I had a piece of cheesecake yesterday, I just made it fit into my day. :)

Chips or ice cream or sometimes both.  But since we normally have chips in the house that's my go to.

That's ok, one mt dew wont kill you lol! I stopped drinking soda a while back. I will have a few sips of my boyfriends dr pepper or mr pibb but I wont ever get one for myself. And that's only once every few weeks.

Mine is bread lol. I wont give it up. But it's hard to not eat as much as I want to...

Chocolate, but then I allow myself something with chocolate almost every day, even if just 100 calories. Don't beat yourself up over can of soda, your changes have to something you can live with for a lifetime, and I don't think it is realistic for anyone to totally give up everything they love, as long as they can have it moderation.
