I broke my hip 2 weeks ago, and I have put on 8 lbs, i know its not much but you can definitely tell.  Any advice for how to lose weight without having to hurt myself would be so much appreciated!

Are you able to walk at all mama?  Get out and do some walking if you can.  Also, take a look at your diet...what are you eating?  Veggies, fruits, whole grains, and lean protein and little processed food.  Drink LOTS of water!  Good luck!

Hugs mama.  I'd guess that some of the weight gain could be from bloating and/or swelling from having such an injury?  not sure.  I'd probably focus on healthy eating.  Maybe count calories, or watch portions, and make sure to eat plenty of veggies and fruits .

I would focus on my diet. I'm asuming you can't do much for exercise. Eat as healthy as you can. Find a calorie counting website and drink lots of water. Hope this heals fast for you.
