I was doing pretty good last summer and early fall. I was getting better and making my workouts a part of my daily routine and eating better (which is my biggest challenge). Then in November last year I got hit with my first bout of pneumonia and it hit me hard. I was so weak. My husband started a new job which takes him out of town for 2 weeks at a time and then he is home for a week then back to work for 2 weeks. This has been a adjustment for all of us. In January I had my second bout of pneumonia and an inner ear infection. I was barely recovering from that when a week and a half ago I got hit a 3rd time with the pneumonia. My daughter was home sick that week, my husband was out of town, and it hit me so hard and fast I knew that I had to get myself to the doctor. My oxygen level was around 86 and the doctor told me he really wanted to put me in the hospital. We opted instead to put me on oxygen at home since my husband was gone and my daughter was still trying to get better from being sick as well. I am doing better now but man it has wiped me out completely.
I started out last fall before I got sick at around 209 lbs (oh I hate to admit that). After I got sick the first time I lost 10 pounds. I did not gain any back after that. I lost a few more pounds this last time so I am around 190 now, not that I want to lose weight like that ever again, but I am so weak.
I had been beginning P90X last fall but there is just no way I can do it right now. I did some pilates today with an old DVD I had and it felt really good. Do you think that is enough for now? I am also having a hard time with eating really anything. I get hungry but absolutely nothing sounds good at all. I go to the store and try to find something and it all looks disgusting. I have eliminated all soda from my house. I drink ice water with lemon and I love that. I don't miss the soda all.
I guess I just need to be patient with myself but I am so tired of feeling and looking like crap. Anyway I am just looking for support at this point so thanks for reading this, sorry it is so long :P

Thanks so much :) I know nutrition is key and that has been such a challenge for me but I am determined to make this a permanent thing this time. I don't want to keep going back to square one again. I am tired of feeling this way. I just need to get my strength back. I am excited to get back going on my P90X again very soon.

Thanks and yes there is no way I could do anything strenuous right now which is why I opted for the pilates dvd for now. I figured it was better than nothing :) You guys are all so awesome. I love the support this group gives each other.
