I did something similar, but at about half the pace.  I was too out of shape for C25K, but I think it's a fantastic way for beginners to get started running!  I love running now, and I am SOO glad I started!  Big props to you, mama!  You can do it!

You ought to check out the Running Moms group in here as well!  Lots of great mamas at all different levels.

Yes every year, because I love running in the spring/summer and I enjoy racing but I just can't motivate myself in the winter.

I have completed it twice and I am on week 4 right now! I use it to help with my speed all the time.

I have not...it bored me to tears. Dh did it and lost 45 lbs in those 9 weeks when he did it. Now, we use: www.halhigdon.com for our training programs. This one is also really great: www.jeffgalloway.com.

Once you really get into running, I would suggest using one of those sites for further training. Also, sign up for a race! This will give you a reason to finish c25K and give you an end goal. You can use : www.active.com for races...just beware- it is very addicting!!!

I have a 5k on 3/10, 3/24, and one in April with a few more sprinkled over the summer months before ending the year with my 1/2 marathon in October.

I am shooting for a 5K in April... it will be my first.  I am an active person but have never been into running. Thought I would try something new!

Whoohooo!!!  Down 7 lbs  in two weeks and still going strong!  I feel great!!!!If you're watching the TODAY Show and you have a roll, the leggings with control are a temporary fix.I have a better, long-lasting option for you.  Send me a message  for details :)
