Fast food regrets.....

Ugh, I feel like crap now.

I've been pretty good for the last couple of weeks, eating healthy, keeping track of my calories and working out at least 4 times a week.

I fell back on old habits today, and ate a couple of fast food meals.

Can I just say:  Yuck!  I'm so going back to my healthy foods tomorrow.

i am a super geek

Ick that happens to me when I eat bad out food too.  A day or two of water and healthy eating helps me, so I'm sure you'll feel better soon. :)

Exactly. That's why I try to always keep a small bag of some healthy alternative so I just reach in the bag rather than stop at a fast food place to get my quick fix. Once and a while honestly won't be all that bad just don't make it a habit. I work at the mall and I was very hungry during my lunch break. I ended up getting tuna on whole grain bread. It was very filling I only had half and saved the rest for dinner. Not trying to be mean just saying when you get the cravings maybe try a subway or even a wrap that has lots of salad like goods. So you aren't cheating  yet "eating out."

i've noticed since i joined this group back in september and decided to eat out less that when i do eat out especially fast foods like BK and mcd's i just feel icky.  there are times when we can't get back to the house to eat and have to eat out though.  usually happens once a week.  i am making healthier choices.  it's a little more pricey but not much.  like for burgers instead of places like BK and mcd's we go to five guys.  they hand-form their burger patties and use real potatoes to cut their fries from.  there is even a sign in the resaurant with the farm of the day.  that's the farm that they got their potatoes from that day.  the kitchen is open to where the customers can actually watch the cooks make the food.

love your beefy geek siggy.  the only reason i put up with my dh marathon watching sg-1.

I try to stick to my healthier food, but sometimes it just seems easier to go buy something that someone else has prepared. Until it hits my stomach and I really start to regret it.

Feel free to be mean, momma. I screwed up, I need to just own up to that and move on. Extra veggies for me tomorrow.

I adore Stargate SG-1. I've watched through all 10 seasons multiple times..... Mostly for Daniel though.:)

i never watched it until it was put on netflix instant.  we have watched all of the episodes to mid-season 9.  i love the chemistry between daniel and vala.  i was so mad when they fixed the bracelet thing.  and now she's gone.  it sounds like she's returning eventually though.

My biggest issue is getting home late and wanting to snack. If I just fill up on water, I pee all night and I can't afford to fill up on other food. Although a friend said just chewing sugarfree/less gum can sometimes do the trick. I personally feel like if you try and cut it out of your life completely you are more likely to rebel against yourself and do more damage in the one day than in the month.

And about the five guys... the food is nice but I don't know how healthy I would consider it. The burgers there are far larger than where ever else you may go. I did a double check and I don't know how much I believe the charts.
