If I drank half my body weight in water I would have to drink 170 ounces daily. The most I've gotten down so far is a 100 and I peed every hour.

It is possible, but work your way up. 100 ounces is a great starting place if you are not used to having that much. Your body will adjust to the extra water in a couple of weeks and you will find yourself in the bathroom less often. Remember as you lose weight, the amount of water you need will lessen and that will help. Do you generally like water? Is drinking that much the  issue or is it going to the bathroom so often? Others will likely have some suggestions for you.

It's possible.  Your body will adjust to the extra water with time, if you're consistent about it.  DO you carry water with you everywhere?  I carry a CamelBak bottle with me everywhere (well, 3 when I go to work), so that I can make sure I can drink anytime I need to.  It makes a big difference, and saves me a TON of money on bottled water.  You can get a Brita or Pur filter at home, so you can still have filtered water (BTW, tap water is often safer than bottled- more stringent regulations).

Set a glass out in front of you in the beginning of the day and try and drink a glass every hour, that's pretty much how I do it but I don't need as much water as you do. Also if you want something other than water, green tea counts towards your daily water intake (not sure about other teas). Plus, green tea has the added bonus of speeding up your metabolism!

you can water log yourself .. too much water too fast has the same effect as being drunk... lol i always heard you are supposed to drink your 8 cups plus one cup per 10 pounds you wanna lose.

please explain what you are talking about.

is this right i weigh 180 to 185 daily. so 185 divided by 2 is 92.5 which is almost 6 16oz glasses of water a day ? or in one sitting?

That is throughout the day, which isn't that hard really. I do much better in the morning, from about 7am to noon, I do at least 4 glasses and I need about 9 a day. Make sure to start drinking as soon as you get up and just keep a glass or water bottle with you.

get a big water bottle. I have one with me right now that's 28oz. I would only need to drink 6 of them to get 170 oz. (well, 168 oz)

Idk. I drink a lot. I have a 64 oz jug and I fill it up 4-6 times a day. Sometimes more in the summer.
