 Can I have my BMR redone please? 28, 5'2, 149, 3-5days

Can I have DH's BMR done please? 29, 5'11, 299, 3-5 days(he also works in construction, walking, lifting heavy items, and standing 5days a week)

We have started to go to the gym together, and I know him working out is probably gonna make a big difference, but I wanna help him get on track with eating as well. I was hoping that maybe you guys can help give me ideas to stick in his lunch box for the day. Usually he has a turkey sandwich on honeywheat bread with mustard, a pudding cup, banana, and a baggy of cheeseits.

So quick and healthy breakfast ideas, snacks, and lunch. He doesn't have a place to heat anything, he cant eat nuts of any kind, he wont eat tomatoes, he isn't big on many fruits. It's a slow process for him so I don't wanna amek to many changes for him to quickly to make him pull back from it all.

Thanks for any help!!

His lunch doesn't sound too bad, actually.  Maybe change the pudding cup to Jello or a fruit cup with a fruit he likes. Also, try sandwich thins instead of 2 slices of bread.  You'll cut calories in half for the bread doing that.

I would ask him to write down all the fruits and veggies that he does like and start from there.  You might be surprised what he does like, but never eats because of prep time.  I plan all the meals and told my husband when I started that I would be using the ingredients that I wanted and if he didn't like it, he could starve or have a sandwich.  Needless to say, most of the time he eats it.  I do try to keep his tastes in mind but this is for all of us, kids included.

YOUR BMR: 1462

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 1462*1.55=2266

To lose 1 lb per week: 2266-500=1766

Your ideal calorie range is 1462-1766 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week.

HIS BMR: 2633

Maintenance while working out 6 days per week ( since he has a strenuous job): 2633*1.725=4541

To lose 1 lb per week: 4541-500=4041

His ideal calorie range is 2633-4041 calories per day since he works out 3-5 days and has a strenuous job.

How about whole grain goldfish, pretzels, jello, yogurt, string cheese? Would those work?
