I have an appt next Friday to talk about getting the paraguard IUD. Anyone else have one?
I've really wanted to get one for the last year or so, but I've been too scared after the horror stories I've heard and read about IUDs. Everything from terrible cramping, to being able to feel the strings, super long periods that won't stop, it getting lost in there, to it gettting implanted in the side of the uterus and needing surgery. AHH!

I had it. I loved it. My periods were extra heavy for the first six months or so but then they slowed to very light. I only had mine removed to ttc.
