I have been BEGGING for a Italian Greyhound for about 3 years now, never in a million did I think I'd get one
Two days ago dh hands me a picture and its the sweetest puppy grey hound I'd ever seen .... He said " your doing so good on your weight loss .... He will be ready wed to pick him up BUT you have to drive it IN to get him (i live in ky) and you'll have to go alone" (i have panic disorder never been in a car alone longer then 1 hour)
Butttt I'm going NOW to get my little guy I'm on the road with some water ,mixed nuts,and jerky (bad for the jerky but I really wanted some lol) I'm scared to be taking this 5hour drive alone but sooo worth it
Like workouts you push cause you want the end result
Ive got a bag next to me full of toys ,treats,outfits,leash and harness (hope the harness fits)
It's 1:17 and I'm in and traffic jam and have to be there at 4pm but think I'll still make it on time
Soooo excited I know this is totally off topic lol but had to share !

How exciting!!!! Congrats!!!
I just got a ShihPoo puppy in February! When we decided not to have more kids, we agreed I could get a puppy instead. She is my fourth baby. Love her!!

That's pretty much why I think he did this we found out last month that he has no sperm (my son is from before) so this is my last baby!

Their life span is sooo short. They only live for like 8 years. I couldn't handle a loss that soon...
