Hi,

 

I hope to be encouraged in this group.  I'm 5'3" and i weigh a whopping 180!  I'm bottom heavy, hips, thighs, butt, & legs.  My thighs rub, i'm out of breath, & I'm NOT motivated at ALL!!!!!!!!!!  I need to change my eating habits learn about the foods thats not good & PORTION CONTROL.  I live in South Louisiana so rice, bread, & gravies, pastas, are my weaknesses.  HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey there!! welcome to d group. im new too. i suggest having someone do ur bmr to start. bmr is the amout of calories ur body needs to operate by doing nothing at all. then go from there with excercise. these ladies r so awsome so i think u have come to the right place

So you have a plan yet for how to eat?  I know what you mean about portion control- that was one of my biggest issues when I started my journey 90 lbs ago (still going!).  I eat clean and exercise.  You can read the full story about what's working for me here (I promise I'm not selling anything!).

We can totally do your BMR for you, so you know how many calories you actually need in a day (tracking your calories will help you BIG time!!).  You've already provided your height and weight, we just need your age and how much you plan to work out.

Welcome to the group! I just count calories on myfitnesspal.com and go to the gym 3-5 days a week. :)
