Maybe keep doing the 3 days of elliptical and add 3 days of a workout DVD that incorporates hand weights like a Jillian michaels DVD ?

Good luck :)

It sounds like you need to switch up your exercise. By adding in a couple of days of weights or even other cardio, you can bust through a plateau.

Eating cleanly is awesome, just make sure you are eating enough calories or you will plateau. Do you track calories at all? Do you know your BMR?

I am not familiar with the tosca diet..however, are you eating enough? There are a couple of ladies that can figure out your BMR to help you figure out a good calorie range. Also, try incorporating some different types of exercise like strength training..you can use your own body weight by doing push ups, planks, squats, lunges etc. You may want to try adding different types of cardio as well. Sometimes our bodies get used to doing the same thing over and over. Also, how is your water intake?

Would you let me do it for you? Just to make sure you are on track calorically since you are BFIng and working out?

I need your age, height, weight and how many days per week you workout.

Your BMR is 1770 - this is the least amount of calories you need to eat each day.

Working out 1-3 days/week, 1770 x 1.375 = 2433

To lose 1 pound per week, 2433 - 500 = 1933

You need to eat between 1770-1933 each day to lose 1 pound per week.

Now, with working out 3-5 days/week, 1770 x 1.55 = 2743

To lose 1 pound per week, 2743 - 500 = 2243

You need to eat between 1770-2243 to lose 1 pound per week.

So basically, depending on your workouts, you need to eat between (average) 1770 - 2100 calories each day.  Just an estimate...make sense?
