I hate push ups so much, but they work EVERYTHING.

What about yoga or kickboxing? You should be able to find some cheaper ones at Target or Walmart.

We get old ones from Zellers, roughly the equivalent of Target in the US: I bought a pile of 2 for $5 a while ago, including Kathy Smith's ancient 80's aerobics and crosstraining ...

But walking in your neigbhourhood is free. So is gardening, heavy housework, and chasing a soccer ball around in a field with your kids.
