Take your measurements!! I know it may not seem important, I know you may not want to know ... but someday in the future, when you're trucking alone and doing great, you WILL hit a plateau. Everyone does. It's at that time when measurements can keep you going.
I've only lost 8 lbs in the last 3.5 months. It's agonizing running a 5k three times a week, a 10k once a week, lifting weights 3 times a week, and basically busting my butt trying to see that number go down with no real progress. For the last 6 weeks I've gained and lost the same 3 lbs every week.
I had taken my measurements, so I did them again. In that time, even though I only lost 8 lbs, I also lost an inch in my waist (I'm curvy so my waist is already much smaller than my boobs and hips), and THREE inches in my hips. I've lost significantly in my calves, biceps, thighs, and both areas of the chest (both at the nipple line and the bra strap line)
Take your measurements!! You'll be glad you did!
