I woke up this morning and weighed myself. I am officially down 40 pounds since January. I haven't been this excited since I hit the 30 pound mark. I am only 5 pounds away from my ultimate goal. So that was the beginning of my morning. I went to work and for work we have to wear khakis. And I just bought brand new khakis about four months ago in a size 10, I was down from a size 12. And these 10s are really really big on me now. I had to keep adjusting them throughout the day and pulling them up. So I decided after work, I had to get new pants. I walked into old navy and grabbed a pair of 8s, they were way to big. I grabbed a 6, and I still had a lot of room, I couldn't believe it. I fit into a size FOUR. I've never been a 4 in my life!! Even in high school, I was always a 8/10. I put the 4s on and just sat in the dressing room and cried my eyes out. I'm still in disbelief. I'm sorry I had to share my emotional day lol.

1 mom liked this
Lol... I started off with the 30 day shred that I did religiously for 30 days. I drink nothing but water. I cut out all the fast food and processed crap. I limited my carb intake. I started jogging. And I do that three times a week and do a walk/jog for four miles. I also did JM's no more trouble zones for a month. I'm now doing he ripped in 30. I just stuck with eating clean and exercising without cheating for the whole six months which made me lose. I dropped 22 pounds in the first month alone.
Quoting mom_of2_n_twins:Dang 40lbs in six months!! What the heck did you do?! lol.

I tracked my calories for the first two months, like every bite I took. And eventually I just naturally learned what I can and cannot eat and approximately how many calories my food has. I started off eating about 1200-1400 calories a day. After about three months and a considerable loss, I was doing more intense workouts so now I will eat somewhere between 1300-1600. But all clean foods, I haven't had ice cream in over a month which was my birthday lol.
