Eating back calories???

Ok.. So I've had my bmr calculated (again) and I am confused right now. My range is 1491-1800.. Anyway...
My job is very physical and I burn a TON of calories there.. I use mfp to log everything, and I usually log it as "cleaning" light for my light days (which I have been using only half of my hours) and heavy "cleaning" for my harder days.. Depending on the day I might use all of my hours or half. I mean on a hard day my whole body feels like jello when I get home!
So anyway.. Should I be eating back these calories??
I usually do, but last week my weight actually increased. And now this week i am SUPER hungry, no matter how much I eat! Granted it's USUALLY like 300 ish calories at a time... But seriously I woke up at 4:30am bc I am hungry.. Again (I just had a snack at 12.. I didn't get off till 8p) I am def NOT preggers lol

I'm new to this whole thing but for me eating back my calories are my "cheat days". It's working well I've lost 11 lbs in about 3 weeks. Some say to eat those babies back...I guess it just depends on the individual. Good luck on your loss.

If you eat in the BMR range that we gave you, then you do not need to eat back those exercise calories.  If you go by the number that MFP gives you, then you do need to eat back the exercise calories...make sense?  If you stay in that range, you shouldn't be eating back any calories...maybe try to eat closer to the 1800 end on the days you're more active.

I agree with Darby.  Eating back more calories than that can end up with your weight loss stalling.

That said, sometimes, if you're that hungry, then you DO need to eat at least a little something.

Maybe try eating more fiber rich foods that will fill you up for longer.

I try my hardest NEVER to eat back my worked off calories because to me, it would seem to defeat the purpose. I suppose if you're trying to maintain your weight then that would be something you'd want to do, but for weight loss, no, I wouldn't suggest eating back your workout calories. You should find more filling foods packed with protein, like eggs, chicken, fish, stuff like that. I don't know what you're currently eating, but if they're light on calories and aren't very filling (aka too much fruit or too much veggies and not much of anything else) then it'll leave you starving yourself which isn't good. My hubby had this problem where all he was eating was salads, veggies and fruits, and outside of the bathroom problems he had, he was constantly starving, so I began feeding him more protein and so far it's been good. Good luck!

Some days I will be literally starving! I eat tons of protein.. Usually I have a protein bar for my work snack...
Then I eat greek yogurt, meats, beans, cheeses.. Actually I've been majorly slacking on my F&V.. Idk why I'm so hungry.. According to mfp, if i wasn't to eat back cals, I would be like -1000 daily. Is that ok??
Maybe I need one of those body bugs or fitbits to get a more accurate calculation.. I went on a crazy food binge yesterday and went wayy over my cals.. But I was freakin hungry! It's really annoying bc I usually do pretty well, but I DO NOT like to be hungry.. I get bitchy when I'm hungry lol :)

Is your period due soon? I always gain and experience hunger just before AF arrives.

I would suggest a more acurate way to measure your calories burned.  It sounds like sometimes you might be burning more than you think you are or less.  Since right now you are just guessing you might not be eating enough on your really hard days, hence the hunger.
