Who needs some extra motivation?
Here are some photos of MY motivation, MY inspiration, and what keeps me going when I don't feel like it!
This is my son, Brady....he has Cystic Fibrosis, Autism, Aarskog Syndrome, 16p Chromosome Duplication, and Brain Damage.
Brady spends hours each day doing breathing treatments, chest therapy treatments to break up the mucus in his lungs, tube feedings...yes, he's primarily fed through a feeding tube (g-tube) b/c he doesn't eat enough by mouth to sustain life. He's almost 4 years old with the overall development of a 1 year old...he has the speech/communication/cognitive development of an 8 month old, fine motor & social skills of a 12 month old, and gross motor skills of a 14 month old.
Hearing the mucus build up in his lungs, hearing him cough during the day and all night long is something that keeps me fighting! Brady fights each day to stay healthy...the least I could do is to keep my disease free body healthy!
What about you? Do you need some extra motivation? When you don't feel like exercising, think about my little boy who struggles each day to do the smallest tasks that most of us take for granted. Do it for him and all the other special needs children who struggle day in and day out!
