How often should you work out?

Should it be at least a little every day, just not intence every day or should it be intence every day? What seems to work the best without over doing it?

And if I may ask what excerises do you do?
I have a Wii and the Active 2 game. It has a lot of easy and intence workouts. You can set your own goals and your workouts. So far I really like it. I just started it though lol I'm just not sure how often I should do it. Or if I should mix things up and do a day of the Wii and a day of walking or jogging even if on the treadmill.

Do you have a set work out routine?

Personally I work out on my days off which ends up being 4 days per week. I alternate my strength training. I do legs and abs one day and then arms and abs the next day. I also do speed walking one day (legs day) and running on arms day

I normally workout 6 days a week..with a rest day once a week. Even on a rest day, I may go for a walk or do a little stretching, usually though I am busy doing things around the house.

I change things up quite often. I do a variety of dvds plus we have a gym in our home so I do weights, treadmill, heavy bag, power tower and medicine ball circuits. Lately, I have been focusing a little more on strength training so I do that 4 days a week minimum and 1 day of circuits and one full carido day.

I work out 6 days a week and im doing a program called insanity which is very intense. I take a rest day every Sunday but sometimes still do some light exercise.

I work out every day, doing things that I enjoy. If I don't enjoy it, I'm not doing it! I also try to walk the dog each day or go for a bike ride.

Let me just start by saying that I've never been someone who enjoys working out. So, for me it had to be something manageable that I could actually stick with. So, I started out slow. I started at 20 minutes or so of light cardio a few days a week. Then I started to work in strength training. Gradually, I got up to where I am now. I go to the gym six days a week and do some intense cardio for at least half hour and sometimes up to an hour a day. I also do about an hour of strength training after that each day. I rest one day a week. Basically, I think yo uhave to choose something that you will stick to. For me that was super important because I have just never been someone that looks forward to working out. Although, at least I don't dread it like I used to now :)

I think that's one of the hardest things to get started. The workouts. Nobody wants to run their a** off every day. But it seems (at least to me) if you get a good routine that isn't too much for you it becomes a little easier. Am I correct?

Yes, the more it becomes routine the easier it is to keep up with it.
I work out at least 5 days a week, Burr usually 6, with one day built in for rest.

It does become easier....I find now my body almost craves it. We went on vacation about a month ago, although I was able to use the small fitness center in the hotel, it wasn't what I was use to, by the time we got home, within an hour I was down working out...it just makes me feel better when I can work out like I normally do.
