a seemingly trivial mile stone.
in late december, i made the full transition from vegetarian to vegan. not to lose weight but bc i believe the vegan diet is the "best" and healthiest. just my opinion and i know not a lot of people can "handle" being vegan.
i started out as 205 at 5'7. definitely overweight, possibly even obese. i have lost 35 lbs. but the thing is, i carry weight completely differently. most would guess i was 180 when i was 205. moving along. my collarbones are clearly visible. my face is thinner. my stomach is flatter. my hip bones are starting to show. my legs have good muscle definition. you can see the bones in my wrist.
mind you, i dont find bone protusions to be a sign of healthiness. i have been working out. its been slow, but i'm okay with that. i started as a 16 and now i'm a 12. and shrinking. i wore a size 12 high waist skirt today for a job interview and there was definitely room to manuever.
the only "goal" i have is to get to 150 and to get to a size 10. and to be able to run without feeling pain in my back and hips.
yay for slow weight loss!
