working out in the morning

I have a question for those that get up early to workout. Do you eat before or after your workout? If you eat before, what do you eat? Do you actually cook something or do you have something you can just grab real quick? I'm starting to do c25k in the mornings and I was just trying to think of what I needed to eat and when. Any help would be appreciated c:

When I worked out in the morning, I ate after my workout.... but I had to get up at 4am, workout, shower and be at work by 5:30.  I didn't really have time to eat until I got to work.  I work out at night now.  4 am is just a time of day I'd rather not see.

You're ALWAYS supposed to eat a GOOD carb before you go to work out.

The carb fuels your body to get the maximum work out and calories burned!

Follow up with a protein after your work out.

I eat after I workout, unless the workout is around my snack time.

When I work out in the morning it is very early- 4:30-5 am... I do not workout with anything in my system. I get violently ill if I workout within 2 hours of eating. I always eat within 30 minutes-1 hour after my workout and incorporate plenty of proteins for muscle recovery.

I HAVE to eat before I work out.  Then I have to let it settle (an hour or so most of the time).  Depending on the day, I can get away with eating less than others, but I am running 5+ miles at a time, so I need some good fuel on board.  I have to get up early enough to plan for this.  But if I don't eat, my workout will be crap, I get lightheaded, it's just no bueno.

make 4 egg whites, wrap it in a whole wheat tortilla and then top with sliced tomatoes.  300 calories, full of awesome protein and will give you tons of energy.  takes no time to make.  always eat something as soon as you wake up

I normally eat a slice of toast and an apple or banana before I workout.  Then after I eat breakfast, usually eggs for the protein.
