Tonight we had the choice of 3 workouts. Most of us opted for the 5k row.
5k.. Thats a LOT of rowing. 3.1 miles, 5000meters how ever you want to look at it. I thought this would be the "easiest" of the options. Boy was I wrong. 1000m in, okay I've done that, 2500m half way boy was my back hurting, counting down more. 4900m 15 pulls from about 4900 to the finish.
^ My finish time! I've never done a 5k row before. It was hard but fun! My time was actually pretty consistant with everyone elses (in the 20 minute range). I'm super proud of that. I've ran a 5k a few years ago in about 50minutes so my goal was to be under 45 in a row. I surpassed my goal.
Oh and I realized I have muscle definition in my triceps. Seriously I was wicked excited about that one! And a pair of pants that I've always HATED the cut, well the cut isn't so bad and they're getting loose in the front (been in the back).
