Weights and MFP

How in the bloomin' heck do you put P90X weights into MFP??? I have it broken up into pull ups, push ups and sit ups right now, but I have no idea how to put in the weights themselves. I only did Back Flys, Lawnmowers and Heavy Pants today in the DVDs as the rest were different pull ups, push ups and Ab Ripper...

I am pulling 25s for the lawnmowers and heavy pants and 12s for the flys... I'm used to using my bugg so I need y'all to tell me how to add strength training in there.

Thanks!

Honestly, I think MFP sucks for tracking strength training!  I log mine under cardio too!!!!  I just log my whole workout together and the number of calories per my HRM.

I have started using fitocracy so I can keep track of how many sets, reps, what weights I use but that's just one more thing!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!  lol  ;)

I know MFP has an add for strength training, but you know what I had to do? Before I did Insanity, I was doing my treadmill and free weights, and I got on "ask.com" and asked "how many calories does xxxx burn?" and finally I found different websites to help me out. With Insanity, I use my HRM and mapmyrun.com to compute certain things.

I don't think MFP is great for strength training. I started logging a lot of what I did under cardio too.

Steph, I've seen a few others post about fitocracy - what is that?

I know what I burn.. I wear a bodybugg 24/7/365 so that is easy. I tried using the strength training section and nothing happened...once I put in strength training under cardio, I was able to put my actual calorie burn into it... I just wanted it to be as easy as adding in a run.. LOL..

It's an app where you log exercise and it gives you points and you can level up. Lol. It doesn't do calories though. It's easier to log my strength training on there because you can add like 1 set of 5 squats at a certain weight and then copy it however many you want. If that makes sense! Lol
