Calf strain

I strained my calf muscle last night doing sprints. No run tonight but I did got walk it out for and hour. I am registered for my 2nd 5K August 18th.

I have a 5k that day also! It's the last one of a 4 race summer series I did. Good luck!!

Take it easy on the calf!  Gentle massage, heat and/or ice, and elevation.  Be sure to let it heal before the race!

It's much better today! I was concerned the first day it happened, I thought I was going to be down for a while. I did some research and it said to do wall push up (a lot) so I have been, now my arms are sore. Lol

Tonight was my 1et night back running since staining my calf muscle. It doesn't hurt but I still knew it was there. Only ran 2 miles just to ease back into it!
