Post Workout, what do you drink?

What do you drink post workout? I have started drinking chocolate milk this week because im honestly sick of mixing up drinks for after my workout. I have trolled alot of muscle boards for both men and women and the majority of people including personal trainers, swear by low fat chocolate milk since its high in carbs but low in protein but not too low and helps the muscles to recover.

What do you think? What are you drinking?

BTW, I am currently on Chalene Extreme after doing 90 days of P90X

Water... I don't drink my calories very often.. Chocolate milk is a great post workout drink, I just choose not to drink my calories...( unless it is a Margarita every 6 months or Starbucks once in a blue moon..)

After a hard workout, I've done chocolate milk, but I usually have water.  I sometimes use Hammer Recoverite, and after longer runs, I'll stop at Starbucks and get a chocolate soy smoothie with 2/3 the usual amount of chocolate (the full amount is too sweet for me).  Those are made with whey protein and a banana.

I drink water and then about 30-60 minutes later I eat lunch.  I work out during my lunch hour

Because of insulin issues, I need to stick with low carb after "working out," I mean, playing with my kids.  Usually, a handful of nuts and a big botte of water.  :-)

It depends on how I feel when I'm done. Like Claire, I try not to drink my calories. That said... I workout first thing in the morning before eating anything. If I feel a bit wobbly .. then I will drink lowfat chocolate milk. If I feel okay.. then just water. During the week... I workout around 5am... but don't eat breakfast until I get to work between 8:30am and 9am. Sometimes I need the chocolate milk to stave off hunger until I have an opportunity to eat.

I stick with water.  If I feel like I need something else, I'll just eat.

I usually drink 64 oz of water while working out, and after my workout I either drink a protein shake or chocolate milk. I like that the protein shake kind of fills me up for a while, but tend to stick to chocolate milk because it's not such a pain to mix up. Also, on days that I'm not feeling too wobbly after a work out I'll drink just water, but I tend to push myself as hard as possible for the whole hour at the gym, so chocolate milk is usually best!
