Question for the runners/working out...and music

I work out/run from time to time (whenever I get a free break, which isnt often!) but I've been wanting some kind of music sort of thing to listen to, to stay motivated. What do I get? An Ipod? I want to be able to wear it on my arm as well.

So do I get an Ipod, and arm band, and ear buds? I honestly have no clue. lol.

Thanks for any ideas!

You can get a cheapie iPod or MP3 player... Apple makes a little iPod that can clip OB and doesn't have a screen. Or you can the arm band or wear some type of clothing you can just stash it in while you run(like a hoodie or a shirt with a pocket). If you get an iPod it will come with ear buds and I'm sure MP3 players do as well.

I have a little iPod that has a built in clip so I can clip it to the bottom of my shirt or the arm of my shirt or wherever.

I would totally get an iPod.  I have an iPhone, so that's what I use for my music when I run, but a Nano would be good, so you can choose the music, as opposed to a Shuffle, where you don't get to choose, you just basically create one playlist and go.  But if you want to go that route, they're about $100 if I remember right, or you could likely find one cheap on Craigslist.  They are handy, because they just clip onto your waistband or whatever, and aren't so bulky that they'd pull your pants down.

For headphones, I don't like earbuds, but a lot of people do.  I have ones that go behind the head, and I'm happy with them overall.

I just use phone and hold onto it. @music...I can't stand earbuds either. How do people keep them in their ears!?
