Should I be taking any vitamins to help me lose weight? What vitamins do you take daily?

I to a B complex as well only when I feel like my energy is low. Otherwise, I try to get all my nutrients from a well rounded diet.

vitamins don't help you lose weight; they just supply your body with what it needs as you workout and deplete your resources.

eating clean (with a caloric deficit) and exercising is what makes you lose weight

i take activeX multi-vitamins, green tea extract (this is an experiment i'm doing in an attempt to prove my PT wrong) and CLA

Probably not.

If you're deficient in necessary nutrients, you may find it impossible to control the volume of food you eat (as Covert Bailey says: if you're going to survive on Twinkies, you're going to need to eat a truckload to get the nutrients you need!)

... but vitamins aren't even very good 'insurance' for nutrients, in a balanced diet or a poor one. They tend to be poorly absorbed and mostly made up of some of the cheapest versions...

I agree, you don't need to take one, especially if you're varying the foods you're eating.  Unless you have deficiencies, they won't serve to benefit you.  I do take a prenatal multivitamin, an omega-3 and vitamin D3 supplement, and iron (because I have iron-deficiency anemia).  A B- complex won't do anything to help with energy (though some claim it does, it hasn't been proven) unless you're deficient in one of the vitamins.

yes! they do!  I had two kids and was looking for a healthy way to lose weight (nutritionally) in addition to my exercise.  I came across Shakeology...basically it's all kinds of vitamins and health foods packed into a SHAKE.  Honestly, I was skeptical about it.  I googled Shakeology and Shakeology scam and then googled some more lol but truth is, I drink it everyday and I have lost 25lbs.  I do exercise 45min-1hour daily as well.  If you want to learn more you can always message me!    You can visit this site as well for more info :).  http://myshakeology.com/mollycoleman

Not sure if they do or not...but, I do take a mult-vitamin daily along with extra calcium, B-12, and Glucosamine.

I don't think it'll help you lose weight. I do take B-12 and D, but that's because of deficiencies.
