Welcome to Day 22 of the October Weight Loss Challenge!

Do you incorporate a glute (butt) workout into your exercise routine?

What glute exercises do you do?

Glute exercises: Do you love them or hate them?

How many times a week do you work on your glutes?

Is today glute day?

Beginner or advanced, there is a glute workout for you. Your glutes are the largest and strongest muscles in your body, consisting of three different muscles that work together.

Why working your glutes is important:

  • Improves your posture
  • Sitting, standing, lifting heavy objects and climbing are made easier
  • Decreases your risk of injury to your knees, lower back and hamstrings
  • Aesthetically pleasing
  • Less muscle fatigue

I do pelvic lifts for my back and leg lifts and i go up and down stairs all day long, all lovely for my tush :)

I do things like squats, leg lifts and lunges.

I do the leg press, Zumba also has a lot of squat/lunges

I do whatever my workout video tells me to do along with yoga and running.

 I really don't do anything for my glutes right now, but I have said that next month I'm going to incorporate some kind of stretching or strength training for my muscles.

I did some weighted bridges/pelvic thrusts last week and dead lifts to hit my glutes.  Want to get some lift!

I do a lot of squats and lunges. Monday nights I go to a zumba class that's great for your butt. I also take the stairs whenever possible.
