Welcome to Day 25 of the October Weight Loss Challenge!

Do you eat breakfast on a daily basis?

If not, why not?

What does a typical breakfast for yourself consist of?

A healthy breakfast is the energy fuel you need to start your day. After sleeping all night and going without food, your energy reserves are low and need to be replenished.

By eating breakfast, your blood sugar rises and your metabolism is recharged.

The benefits of a healthy breakfast are:

  • Provides necessary nutrients to kick start the day

  • Regular breakfast promotes healthier body weight.

  • Daily breakfast regulates appetite, reduces snack cravings

  • Reduces chances of overeating during the day

  • Reduces the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease

  • Helps stabilize hormones and blood sugar levels

  • Reduces fatigue and sleepy feeling mid-morning

  • Spurt in energy levels, positive attitude.

  • Improves concentration, boosts brain power

  • Helps in weight maintenance efforts

  • Increases alertness

  • Improves overall health and well-being

I eat breakfast every day.  I "try" to have a carb, fruit or veggie, and protein with every meal.  As well as coffee. :)

I try to eat breakfast everyday but sometimes I don't or I'm busy or I'm just not hungry.

I eat breakfast almost every day. Usually one day a week where I miss out on breakfast. My breakfast is not the greatest, but it's better than the lack of breakfast I did for years. 

My breakfast consists of milk or a small Starbucks Mocha Frappucino and a chocolate Milk Bite Bar. Yum!

I try to eat breakfast I don't eat breakfast sometimes because I have digestion problems. If I do eat breakfast I eat bagel or cereal sometimes pancakes

I breakfast just about every day, and I usually eat toast, or cereal.  At times I will mak a big breakfast that includes pancakes or waffles, milk or juice, and sausage or bacon if we have in the house.

I try to eat breakfast every morning. Most days it's just cereal or toast. I like to ads fruit but it's just not always possible.

I've been trying to. Usually the Special K cereal. You are not suppose to miss meals because your body doesn't function properly to lose weight if you do.

 Yes, I eat a bowl of oatmeal every morning. I'll also have a yogurt or piece of ruit or an english muffin to go with it

I always eat breakfast. What I eat varies though.
