New and have some questions.
Hi. My name is Sarah. I am 29 years old. Been married 10 years to a great man and we have 2 daughters together ages 10 and 5.I am a sahm and both daughters go to school.
I am 5'2 and at this point and time I weigh 148 lbs. I have gained almost 20 lbs in the past 6 months. I have gained 50lbs since graduating from high school 11 years ago.
I need some motivation and some ideas. I have several health problems that have kept me from losing some weight.
1. I have hashimotos. It is an autoimmune disease that causes hypothyroid. Eventually my thyroid will die. I will forever be on thyroid medications. It is checked avery 6 months or more often if I feel like I am faving issues with it.
2. I have back and neck problems. So I can't do anything like sit ups or crunches or really anything that requires major use of my back.
3. I have fibromyalgia, so some days I feel ok and other days I can barely get out of bed because of the pain.
4. I suffer from depression. I am on medications for it but just like the fibro, some days I feel ok and others I have major motivational issues.
So does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to loose some weight? Having a schedule really doesn't work because some days I can do more than others. I am not one of those sahm mom types that eats all day just because I'm home. I don't really think I eat to much. I eat lunch and supper and maybe a snack. I can't eat breakfast. If I do I will be sick all day. I have to be awake for a few hours before I can eat.
I will admit that my biggest problem is motivation and that I just don't know what to do. If I over do it I will be in a lot of pain for a few days. Doing ab work is almost impossible because it requires back work too. Some yoga is ok but it doesn't really feel like it is doing me any good.
