So earlier this week I posted about adding a cup of beans a day to diet and changing nothing else.  I have in fact lost 3 lbs since Saturday.  Not a lb a day, but not a lb. a day as had been reported.  I still may be undergoing a placebo effect so I'll keep you guys updated.

Just curious, do you usually eat a lot of fruits and veggies? Just thinking maybe your body was responding to increase in fiber?

Not so much, but yes, I'm sure the increase in fiber has a lot to do with it.
