Holiday Challenge: Day 5 Accountibility Partner

Welcome to Day 5 of the Holiday Challenge!

During the holidays, we are surrounded by friends and family. Recruit one or two of or your most trusted allies, and share with them your goals for staying on track during the holidays.

Being accountable to someone other than yourself, will help you make better choices when faced with holiday indulgence.

Do you have an accountability partner in your weight loss journey?

Do you think having an accountability partner would give you that extra push to help you meet your goals?

Me and my best friend try to keep each other in check. It's hard this time of the year.

My husband has been encouraging, but isn't really an accountability partner. He would be if I asked him to, but I don't feel I need it right now.

Yes. It's my mom and she does give me the motivation I need each week. We have to tell each other our weights and it makes me want that number down each week

It's all on me...and you know what? That's ok.  Once I've decided this is what I want- I don't need anyone else to push me or hold me accountable. I have a notebook that I count calories in and Sparkpeople to track my work out min.  That's all I need

Not really... I have Dh, but I'm a solo kinda gal when it comes to things like this.. I am a very Type A personality, so I just do what I say I'm going to do..no questions asked.

I don't.  I've tried it a few times, and usually someone eventually flakes.  I don't like relying on anyone else.
