Welcome to Day 16 of the Holiday Challenge!

Remember your goals! With all the wonder and excitement of the holidays it is easy to lose sight of your goals. Keep your eye on the prize. If you find yourself drifting away from your weight loss/maintenance journey, go back to the beginning. Look at your beginning weight or measurements and compare them to where you are currently in your journey. Looking back will motivate you.

Use whatever motivation method works for you to help keep you on track.

What keeps you motivated on your weight loss journey?

I'm getting older, I just turned 50, and I want to stay as healthy as possible.

My little girl.. She started public school in October and was being teased because I'm overweight.  It really hurt that she had to go through that.

When I started my journey 3 years ago, my motivation was my family...now, it is me. I like being healthy and will never go back to where I started. I am getting my Personal Trainer Certifications so my motivation is to be a healthy example for those I wish to help achieve THEIR goals.

I think it's fitting into clothes that I haven't been able to fit in years and knowing that even those are becoming loose on me, it just feels good and to have more energy feels good.  My kids seeing me eat healthy and exercising is making them want to do the same thing which is good too.
