Should I be eating a day? I'm 5'5", 220lbs. I would love 2 loose 70-80lbs. If anyone could help, that would be great! Thanks ladies.

If you give me your age and how many days you workout I can calculate your BMR.

BMR: 1767

1767 x 1.375 = 2430

2430 - 500 = 1930

To lose 1-2 lbs per week while exercising 1-3 days per week, consume 1767-1930 calories per day.

1767 x 1.55 = 2739

2739 - 500 = 2239

To lose 1-2 lbs per week while exercising 3-5 days per week, consume 1767-2239 calories per day.

To lose faster, stay on the lower end of the range.  Don't add in exercise calories if you're using MFP.  Have one of us do this for you every 5-10 lbs.

Good luck!!

What do you mean don't add excercises. In mfp? I'm not supposed to calculate those in? (Didn't mean to take over post lol :p)

If you're eating based on your BMR, you don't add in those exercise calories.  Your range takes that into account already.

MFP adds in exercise calories because it sets your calories very low (generally 1200), expecting you'll add in exercise calories in order to get enough.  The problem with that is that most people don't exercise 7 days a week, but you need to eat at least your BMR whether you work out or not.
