I just realized I've had zero red meat at home this year. Not a goal or anything, but chicken has been on sale and so has fish. We've had at least one fish supper a week and all of our typical red meat recipes (tacos, meatloaf, spaghetti, etc) have used some form of poultry instead. It's not something I was conciously doing, but I think it's forming a good habit without me even realizing. I did have some roast when I went to a friend's house for supper, but it was less than I usually eat.

I started on jan 2 and am logging my calories (1200) and am exercising 5 days per week. I've lost 4 lbs so far and the last 5 days I haven't been able to lose anymore. Kinda disappointed. Not sure if my being over 40 is making it more difficult.

I'm not sure what my weight is I started at 189 don't own a scale cuz I don't want to get too wrapped up in the numbers. My goal weight is 160 so I may go buy a scale n get on it once then put it back up I want to be surprised when I get on it. I do insanity 6 days a week in the mornings n when its not too cold out I will go run a mile in the afternoon. I'm trying to gradually add healthier foods to my daily regimen so far so good. I think I'm addicted to working out now.

I havent had SODA but I had low fat ice cream. I am counting calories and have only gone over 1200 in one day. I couldnt resist the cinamon rolls in the breakroom yesterday - I had 2!!!

I didn't measure or weigh myself. I've been eating in the morning and haven't had any pop since the day we were supposed to give up something.
