I just realized I've had zero red meat at home this year. Not a goal or anything, but chicken has been on sale and so has fish. We've had at least one fish supper a week and all of our typical red meat recipes (tacos, meatloaf, spaghetti, etc) have used some form of poultry instead. It's not something I was conciously doing, but I think it's forming a good habit without me even realizing. I did have some roast when I went to a friend's house for supper, but it was less than I usually eat.
I havent had SODA but I had low fat ice cream. I am counting calories and have only gone over 1200 in one day. I couldnt resist the cinamon rolls in the breakroom yesterday - I had 2!!!
I have lost 6 lbs. 8) I just keep telling myself slow and steady wins the race!
