New Year Weight Loss Challenge Day 18: Let's Go Fishing!

Welcome to Day 18 of the New Year Weight Loss Challenge!

Let's Go Fishing!
Or at least to the fish section of the market!

One key factor to achieving and maintaining healthy weight loss is to change your eating habits.

Using the 'eat this, instead of that' mantra try replacing other meats, more specificially red meat, with fish at least twice a week.
Fish is generally low in calories, low in saturated fat, less expensive than beef, pork and poultry and is packed with heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids.

Do you eat fish in place of other meats?
How often do you eat fish?
Share with us your favorite fish dishes?

No one else in my family will eat fish so it isn't something I buy.

We have fish about 1-2 days a week. It's a nice change in the regular meals.

I am an ovo lacto pescetarian.  I don't eat other meats, but I do eat fish and I love sushi!  That is my favorite.

We cannot have fish in our house - my husband is dealthy allergic. I will order fish at a restaurant on occassion though, and we do eat tunafish, as he is usually okay with it.
