Welcome to Day 17 of the New Year Weight Loss Challenge!

And Relax!

One factor in having a healthy body is also having a healthy mind. Relaxation is a great way to reduce stress on your mind and body, by slowing your heart rate, reducing muscle tension and lowering your blood pressure.
There are many ways to relax. Massage, Tai Chi, Hypnosis and Visualization are all excellent techniques. Sitting quietly in a room, reading, listening to music and even taking a nap are also effective.
Whatever form of relaxation you practice, make sure you take time for yourself often to de-stress and  properly relax.

My relaxation time is always in the evenings when my kids have gone to bed. I sit and read or watch tv.

Relax after the kids go to bed. Read, watch tv or browse the net.

I do relax when possible. I listen to music, take a nap if I feel like it but its hard to relax when you have kids

I relax in the evening by watching some TV, crafting or reading.

I take time for a long hot bath.It helps me to relax.Another thing I do is I love to go on bike rides with my dd's.I really enjoy the exercise and time being with them.We take bread with and feed the ducks

I wake up before everyone else, have my coffee and internet time. I also try to go for a walk alone everyday if the weather is nice.

I don't have much down time. However, DH gives me some time for myself when he can & I love it. A good soak in the tub works wonders!
